Terms & conditions.
Plain English where we can manage it. These are the terms you agree to when you order from Rosso.
1. Who you are dealing with
This site is operated by Rosso Coffee ("Rosso", "we", "us"), trading in the United Kingdom. You can reach us at hello@rossocoffee.co.uk.
2. Ordering
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot fulfil an order — a roast is unavailable, or we cannot deliver to your address — we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is free within the UK.
3. Payment
Payment is taken by Direct Debit, processed by GoCardless Ltd. We do not take card payments, and we never see or store your bank details.
- The Explorer sets up a Direct Debit mandate and takes £47 each month until you cancel.
- The Starter Pack is a single one-off payment of £55 taken against the same mandate.
All payments are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee. You will be given advance notice of the amount and date of each payment in line with that Guarantee, and if a payment is ever taken in error you are entitled to an immediate refund from your bank.
4. Subscriptions
The Explorer renews monthly. There is no minimum term, no notice period and no cancellation fee. You may skip, pause, change your grind or cancel at any time using the link in any order email or by emailing us.
If we need to change the price, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before it applies, and you are free to cancel in that time.
5. Cancellation and returns
Your statutory right to cancel a distance purchase, how to return goods, and what happens if an order arrives damaged or wrong are all set out on our Delivery & Returns page, which forms part of these terms.
6. The coffee
Every bag is a food product roasted in small batches. Origins rotate, so the specific coffee in an Explorer drop will vary month to month — that is the point of it. Tasting notes describe what we find in the cup and are not a guarantee of what you will taste.
Our coffee is not a health product. We make no claims about health, energy, wellness or the effects of caffeine, and nothing on this site should be read as such a claim. If you have a caffeine sensitivity or a medical condition, take your own advice.
7. Liability
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that is not foreseeable, or for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control — though we will always tell you and put it right where we can.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
8. This website
The Rosso name, branding, packaging design, photography and written content on this site belong to us. You are welcome to read, share and link to it; please do not reproduce it commercially without asking.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be emailed to you first.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes fall to the courts of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction.
11. Complaints
Email hello@rossocoffee.co.uk. We answer within one working day and we would much rather fix it than argue about it.
